Stripping is the process of pulling the dead hair or fur out of the coat of a non-shedding dog, either by using a special tool, a striping knife, or the fingers.
A hard, wiry coat has a cycle where it starts growing and then sheds as it reaches maximum length.
Stripping coordinates the shedding and makes room for a new coat to grow. Stripping is the proper method grooming for most terriers, and is required for show dogs of many hard-coated breeds.
If your dog's nails are not trimmed, they will curl over, making it painful and uncomfortable for your dog to walk. Uncut nails may curl into the dog’s paw pad, leading to infection and pain.
If a dog's nails are not trimmed regularly the quick (the blood vessel in the nail) will grow out with the nail, making it nearly impossible to cut properly.

We recently relocated to the South Bay Area and needed to find someone quickly to walk our dog Phoebe during long days at our new jobs. Our dog is a very important part of our family and we wanted to make sure she was well taken care of and safe. We found Michelle through the Willow Glen Facebook page. She responded fast to our call and visited our home to meet us and Phoebe.
We instantly felt comfortable with Michelle. She is very reliable and gives us updates about her visit with Phoebe. We know she is kind to Phoebe and is even helping with training her (since we haven't done the best job of that ourselves.)
